She’s a Girl’s Girl: Meet CEO of Cristina’s Curls, Courtney Smith
Meet former licensed esthetician and stay-at-home mom, Courtney Smith. Courtney created Cristina’s Curls as a remedy for her daughter’s eczema and cradle cap as an infant. Today, Cristina’s Curls is a massively successful children’s hair and skincare company that is helping mothers who are struggling to find natural remedies for their children.
What does being a Girl’s Girl mean to you?
A “girl’s girl” to me means, you support other women and root for other women to win!
What makes you so passionate about showing love to and support for other women?
I’m passionate about showing love and support to other women because we all are trying to be the best mom, wife, daughter, etc… and it’s not easy. It all comes with challenges and if I can encourage someone to keep going, that’s what brings me joy!
Tell us about a goal you achieved that wouldn’t have been possible without the help of other women?
When I started my business, Cristina’s Curls, I didn’t have a clue on what to do first. But I had a friend who had a successful adult skincare line and she literally gave me the blueprint on how to launch and grow my brand. I am forever grateful.
What advice would you give to other women entrepreneurs who dream of starting their own beauty brand?
My advice is to just start! Don’t worry about all of the little details. Take the first step, be teachable and pivot as you go. It will all work out.
How can readers support the Cristina's Curls brand?
