What will thriving look like for you in 2025?
As we close out 2024, I’ve been reflecting on what it really means to thrive. For me, thriving isn’t about perfection or nonstop productivity; it’s about building stability and being intentional about how I show up in every area of my life.
It’s also about balance—working hard when it’s time to work and resting fully when it’s time to relax. I want to create a system and find a rhythm that allows me to succeed without sacrificing my peace of mind or relationships.
Tell us about some of the actions you’re taking now to prepare for success in 2025.
I’ve spent the last 2-3 weeks reflecting, planning and resting.
I’ve been looking back on the year to identify what worked, what didn’t, and what milestones I really need to acknowledge and integrate. I believe reflection gives me the clarity I need to step into the new year with purpose.
I’m using the 12-week Year method to break all my goals into smaller, actionable steps for the first quarter. I love this method for goal achievement. This method keeps me focused on the goals that matter most. After determining what I want for True Growth Caribbean, my real estate business and my personal life, I have already determined the monthly, weekly and daily action steps needed to achieve them in the first quarter.
This year, I intentionally decided to release the pressure of creating a “perfect” holiday season. No extravagant decorations or over-the-top plans—just rest, presence, and spending quality time with my daughter. It’s been the least stressful Christmas I’ve ever had.
Last, but most importantly, I trust God’s provision. One of the most significant shifts for me has been letting go of the idea that I have to do everything on my own. I’m preparing the best I can and trusting God to provide where I can’t.
These steps are helping me approach 2025 with a sense of clarity, peace, and focus.
What is one thing you learned this year that will change how you do things next year?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned this year is that preparation is everything.
When you prepare correctly, you can face challenges with confidence. If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like you’re not enough, ask yourself, “Did I prepare sufficiently?” If the answer is yes, then you’ve done your part—trust God to do the rest. If the answer is no, take responsibility for where you’ve fallen short and make the necessary changes.
Winging it might get you through some situations, but it won’t take you where you want to go. This year has shown me that preparation isn’t just practical; it’s empowering. It reminds you that you’re capable, intentional, and ready for what’s next.
Can you share one thing readers can do to shift their mindset towards growth and thriving when faced with challenges or uncertainty about the new year?
Start looking at challenges the same way you look at a workout.
When you’re in the gym, discomfort is part of the process. You push through because you know it’s building strength. Challenges in life are the same—they’re not there to break you; they’re there to help you grow.
When faced with difficulty, ask yourself, “How is this preparing me for what I’ve prayed for?” Trust that nothing with God is wasted. Every challenging moment strengthens you for what is ahead. Growth isn’t easy, but it’s always worth it.
Ps. Listen to this podcast episode - The 3 Stages of Growth. Understanding this has made goal achievement a lot easier for me.
Final Thoughts
Thriving in 2025 is about building a solid foundation. It’s about showing up for yourself with intention, celebrating your progress, and trusting the process even when it feels hard.
I’m grateful for the chance to share my journey with She Wins Society. Together, we can step into the new year with clarity, faith, and the confidence that we can thrive—no matter what comes our way.
