She Will Thrive in 2025: Meet Mimi Johnson

What will thriving look like for you in 2025?

Thriving in 2025 will mean having the freedom to enjoy more of life. For me, that means finding more balance—being able to celebrate the fruits of my labor, spending quality time with my son and loved ones, and taking moments to recharge and reflect while continuing to build Grind Pretty and other business ventures.

Tell us about some of the actions you’re taking now to prepare for success in 2025?

Right now, I’m focusing on setting healthy boundaries to protect my energy and ensure I’m fully present in my personal and professional life. I’m also building smart collaborations and partnerships that align with my vision and values. It’s all about working smarter, not harder and making sure every move I make is strategic and impactful.

What is one thing you learned this year that will change how you do things next year?

This year taught me the power of intentional rest. I realized that stepping back doesn’t mean stepping away—it’s about recharging so you can return stronger. I want to show up as the best version of myself and you can't do that on empty. Moving forward, I’m committed to incorporating more intentional pauses, more quiet moments with myself and God, into my schedule to foster creativity and avoid burnout.

Any advice to a woman entrepreneur who had a challenging 2024?

Learn how to pause and pivot. Challenges can feel overwhelming, but they often carry the biggest lessons. Don’t be afraid to reassess, change directions if needed, and remain faithful to your journey. Trust that every setback is setting you up for a bigger comeback. Keep grinding pretty—you’ve got this!
